Hillsboro Lighthouse Preservation Society is once again offering its Lighthouse tours on boats departing from the Sands Harbor Resort and Marina, located at 125 North Riverside Drive in Pompano Beach.
These tours with the enjoyment of the pleasant ocean breeze, have a one-hour tour (round trip) and operate only once a month at 9:00, 10:00, 11:00 AM, 12:00, 1:00, 2:00, and 3:00 PM, at a cost of $ 35 per person. Annual membership is $ 50 (4 people) and $ 75 (6 people).
Upcoming tours are July 11, August 14, September 11, October 9, November 13, and December 12. It is recommended to arrive at the pier 10 to 20 minutes before departure time.
People who are unwilling or unable to climb the Lighthouse can stay in the calm bay in front of the historic monument, bring their food, snacks and refreshments.

Warning about the Lighthouse
The narrow staircase has 175 rungs, 130 vertical feet to the top, and a hot temperature.
