The first edition of the Port Everglades Career Fair & Expo established itself as a key bridge to employment in South Florida. 

The event, held last Wednesday, May 27, at the newly expanded Broward Convention Center in Fort Lauderdale, brought together more than 40 leading companies ready to hire talent immediately.

 

The fair was designed as a direct response to the region's labor needs, attracting a massive turnout of more than 1,700 job seekers and recent school graduates.

 

Port Everglades represents one of Florida's most powerful economic pillars, directly generating more than 12,000 local jobs.

 

The event, which took place from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, served as a platform to connect professionals of various experience levels with real job openings.

 

The organizers offered free admission and parking. In addition, Broward County Transit provided continuous, free bus service from four strategic locations throughout the county to facilitate transportation for attendees.
