“Being visible is not a privilege, it’s a responsibility”.

Actor, communicator, and mentor, Miguel Gómez celebrates his career during Hispanic Heritage Month.

MIAMI – September marks Hispanic Heritage Month in the United States, a celebration that in 2025 marks its 36th anniversary as an official observance and 57 years since its initial establishment as a national week. Throughout this time, the date has become a symbol of pride and representation for millions of immigrants. For 25 years, ENUSA NEWS has been a benchmark in extolling the most influential Hispanic personalities, highlighting their talent, discipline, and shared roots. This year's spotlight is Miguel Moisés Gómez, a Venezuelan actor and broadcaster who has established himself as one of the most relevant figures on Hispanic television in the U.S.

With a prominent presence on two of Telemundo's most influential programs—the telenovela Velvet and the current affairs program La Mesa Caliente—Gómez reaffirms her position as one of the most solid and versatile Hispanic voices in the space. There, she shares the stage with figures such as Giselle Blondet, Myrka Dellanos, Verónica Bastos, and, most recently, Andrea Meza, and each week she brings the perspectives and voices of thousands of migrants to the screen.

With over 25 years of experience, Miguel Gómez has participated in successful television productions in recent years, including Vuelve a mí (Come Back to Me), Juego de Mentiras (Game of Lies), and Betty en NY (Betty in NY), among others; as well as programs such as Hoy Día (Today) and Despierta América (Wake Up America). His outstanding reputation has led him to serve on juries at global awards shows such as the SAG-AFTRA Awards in the United States and the HOLA Awards in New York, reaffirming his authority as an extraordinary actor and a respected figure in the arts industry. Regarding his career, Gómez states: “Coming to the United States wasn't like starting from scratch; it was like building on everything I had already sown in Venezuela.”

During this Hispanic Heritage Month, Miguel Moisés Gómez's story symbolizes the contributions of millions of immigrants: discipline, artistry, resilience, and purpose.
