FITCE, an international event that positions our county as the one with the greatest business opportunity
in the world

Last month, on October 22nd and 23rd, one of the most significant events for our Broward County was held at the Fort Lauderdale Convention Center: the tenth anniversary of the Florida International Culture and Business Expo, better known as FITCE.

FITCE welcomed countries worldwide to recognize this region as one of the world's most promising destinations.

FITCE's goal is to brand Broward County as the premier capital for import and export trade, while helping to establish new businesses and improve existing ones so they can continue to grow.

Both business people and residents had the opportunity to meet entrepreneurs, Chamber of Commerce leaders, importers, exporters, as well as local institutions such as the Port of Everglades, Hollywood/Fort Lauderdale International Airport, the Fort Lauderdale Convention & Visitors Center, the Office of Economic and Small Business Development, the Broward Cultural Division, among other entities.

Why is FITCE important?

The future of Florida is global trade! According to Select Florida, total trade with the world in 2024 was $196.9 billion in goods sourced in the state, and it has more than 60,000 registered export companies. It's time to take your business to the next level and bring new global business to the region.

If you didn't have the chance to visit or participate in FITCE 2025, reserve your spot for next year. It's well worth attending to learn about its essence and vision!
