In a friendly, family-friendly atmosphere, Colony Springs Medical Center celebrated its 35th anniversary of serving healthcare. The significant event took place in the elegant rooms of The View, overlooking the golf course. There was live music, food, dancing, giveaways, and plenty of entertainment.

Colony Springs Medical Center, located in Tamarac, began operations in 1990, a vision brought to the center by President Gabriel Neira from his native Colombia. He saw a significant need for healthcare assistance and guidance in Broward County's Hispanic community. He was also motivated by the number of people, especially seniors, who needed Medicare and Medicaid. The medical center also offers other services such as acupuncture and physical therapy, and offers educational seminars that contribute to improving the health of its members.
