Argentine Latin American Film and Art Festival Concludes

For 24 years now, the Argentine Latino Film and Art Festival has been held at Nova Southeastern University, a laudable project led by Adriana Bianco, who dedicates a large part of the year to selecting the films and artworks selected for the exhibition.

Held on Sundays in September, the festival is dedicated to films from various Latin American countries. Before each film begins, founder Adriana Bianco summarizes the film. This year, films from Puerto Rico, Venezuela, and Argentina were selected, with various artists also performing on stage, sharing their musical interpretations with the audience. At the same time, several Latin American writers are given the opportunity to briefly comment on their books.

This is a free, open-to-the-public, educational event that also features a dedicated wall highlighting Adriana's work during her years as an actress in Argentina, as well as her admirable years of work in our community.

The Argentine Latino Film and Arts Festival is also held in commemoration of Hispanic Heritage Month nationwide from September 15 to October 15.
