As it does every year, the City of Coral Springs celebrated its annual International Dinner Dance Gala, an event that celebrates the food, drinks, customs, and culture of the honored country. This year, the host country was Portugal. Its friendly and welcoming people, along with the vibrant colors and richness of its traditional dances, filled the evening with their characteristic rhythms.

The city's Multicultural Advisory Committee, made up of volunteers from various countries, organized the event. Each year, a country is chosen by vote among the members, taking into consideration its food, music, customs, and culture.

Preparations then begin, including finding sponsors, selling tickets, decorating the hall, sampling the host country's cuisine, and attending to all the necessary details.

The Rancho Corações dance group from Portugal presented their colorful and infectious dance to the delight of those present.

The gala was held at the Coral Springs Marriott in Heron Bay, with Supermercados El Bodegón as the main sponsor.
